Study sessions with a tutor beside you
Start a session and the rounds are set up for you: focus, a short break, focus again, then a quick wrap-up. The question sits on one side and the Tutor’s chat on the other, ready when you get stuck.

A Pomodoro timer that’s already set up
No fiddling with timers. Each session comes with its rounds, sized to the work and to the time you have tonight.
Rounds, breaks and a way back
- Focus rounds with a short break between them, then a wrap-up that plans the follow-up.
- Shorter halves a session; Not now leaves it on the plan; +10 min says what it pushes later.
- While a session runs, a pill on every screen takes you straight back to it.
- The Sessions page shows what’s running, this week’s study time per subject, and a grid of sessions to start.

The tutor chat is the main event
Most study tools hide the help behind a button. Here the Tutor sits beside every question, the whole time.

Asks before it tells
The Tutor starts from where you got to. Hints come before answers, and “I don’t know” is always a fine thing to say.
Help one tap away
Explain this question, Give me a hint, Check my method, Why does this work? Or type anything about the question in front of you.
Tools beside the work
A formula sheet, a graph and your formula and data booklet open in a side panel, so you never leave the question.
Ten ways to study
Different work needs a different session. Each mode has its own screen.
| Mode | What you do | Who helps |
|---|---|---|
| Practice | Questions one at a time, with a maths answer field and a Stuck? button | TutorExaminer |
| Check | A short check across a unit to find gaps. It isn’t a grade | Examiner |
| Flashcards | Spaced review of definitions, formulas and quotes | Librarian |
| Reading | A text with prompts in the margin, then a three-line summary, flashcards and a teach-back | Tutor |
| Revision | A topic page turned into recall questions: answer, reveal, say how it went | Tutor |
| Essay | Plan and build an essay paragraph by paragraph on a board | Tutor |
| IA work | Work through an internal assessment one step at a time | Tutor |
| Proof | Maths proofs step by step | Tutor |
| Mistake redo | Questions you got wrong on a returned test, tried again | Examiner |
| Exam | A timed practice exam with planning time, then marking against the criteria | Examiner |
Feedback on drafts, never ghost-writing
Comments beside your words
Paste in your draft and its headings, lists and bold come with it. Read through adds comments anchored to your text, each tagged with the criterion it’s about, with Accept, Dismiss and Reply.
The comments are questions and suggestions. Nothing edits your words: the work stays yours.

Honest about AI and assessment
Your school sets the rules about using AI for assessment, and QCAA expects assessed work to be your own. The Tutor is built not to write assessed work, and draft feedback is comments only. If you’re not sure what your school allows, ask your teacher before you use the Tutor on an assessment.
