Modus Ordo

A cast of helpers, and you’re in charge

Instead of one chatbot that does everything, there’s a small cast. Each character has one job, its own shape and its own way of talking. The Manager sits in the corner of every screen and hands your requests to the right one.

Who’s who

Flat shapes with two dot eyes: no faces to read, no feelings claimed. You name your Manager (Sam calls it Juno), and you can rename any of them.

The Manager: one place to ask

Ask in plain words

Open the Manager from the corner of any screen and say what you want: “Can Lit flashcards go after tutoring instead?” It hands the job to the right specialist and answers with a receipt: who did it, what changed, Show me and Undo.

When it’s faster to go somewhere or do something yourself, Ctrl + K opens the command bar, which can also pass a question to the Manager.

Four approval bands, decided by code

The AI can’t decide how much it’s allowed to do. Code puts every kind of change into one of four bands.

Never the AIYou do it yourself. The cast can’t even offer.Your AI key, your account, privacy settings, turning AI off, deleting your data
Preview firstYou see exactly what would change, and accept it or notNext week’s plan, a big rearrangement of the week
With a noticeIt happens, and the app tells you what changedAdding an excursion date from a web page you shared
With UndoIt happens, with Undo right thereMoving tonight’s Lit quotes to 8:15 pm, adding a reminder

To confirm: nothing from in passing happens on its own

Things you mention wait for a yes

Things you tell the Manager directly happen straight away, with Undo. Things picked up in passing, from your notes, a quick capture or a web page, don’t: they wait in To confirm.

Each one is a row: what was said, what happens if you accept, who would act, how it applies and when. Accept it, decline it, or open it and pick what you meant.

To confirm: each suggestion as a row with what was said, what happens if you accept, who acts and how it can be undone

Undo and History

Changes, by you or by the cast, go into History with who made them and when. Most can be undone from there, and the newest has Undo right on screen.

History: every change with who made it and an Undo

Code checks the cast

The characters work through the app’s own tools, the same buttons you use. That keeps them honest.

No made-up screens

The cast picks from a fixed set of parts the app already has. The app decides where things go and how big they are.

Only code says “Done”

A receipt comes from changes that really happened. If nothing changed, the cast can’t say it did.

Screens don’t wait for the AI

Opening a screen doesn’t call the AI. The cast only works when something changes, which keeps it quick and keeps your AI costs down.
